By downloading, installing, or using Rephrase ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Rephrase is an AI-powered voice-to-text application for Windows (and Mac) that allows you to:

Record voice and receive transcriptions
Use Composer for AI-assisted text generation and editing
Store transcripts locally on your device

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
Transcribe, generate, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Resell or redistribute the App without authorization

4. Intellectual Property

Rephrase and its content, features, and functionality are owned by the operator and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create using the App.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Transcription and AI-generated content may contain errors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
